Ongoing Effort

We provided partial and full start-up funding to 50 small businesses in India, such as taxi cabs, fruit carts, and sewing/tailoring shops. This provides a sustainable income to families in impoverished areas while empowering the business owners to pour back in to their local economy.

We provide partial and full tuition scholarships to higher education students demonstrating a financial need. We also provide the students with learning essentials, such as textbooks and laptops.

India

June 2021

COVID-19 restrictions forced many local schools to close preventing students from continuing their primary education. We donated 2 smart boards to local primary schools in India to enable classrooms to re-open and help teachers to communicate with and teach students virtually.

United States

July 2022

We assembled and distributed over 250 care packages to homeless community members in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. These packs included snacks, waters, toiletries, blankets, socks, gloves, and more.

Uganda

July 2021

A community in the Bukoto village in Kampala, Uganda did not have accessible drinking water. We contributed to the funding for a group of volunteers to build a brand new water pump that now provides clean drinking water to over 40 families. This protected water source also reduces the potential for spreading disease and waste.

India

Ongoing Effort

Due to the spike in Covid cases and related deaths, individuals could not step out to get basic groceries nor could they afford to buy basic food items in order to survive. We bought, packaged and distributed rice, flour, cooking oil, lentils, and salt to 50 families, both in the north and south of India to last for a month at a time so that they are at peace and know they will not starve. We will continue this effort for the next several months.

Ongoing Effort

Many individuals across the United States and India were unable to work and provide for their families due to the COVID shutdowns, curfews, and restrictions. Some families suffered a loss of income because of a COVID-related death. Many were already living paycheck to paycheck, so teenagers and children in the homes were forced to work and compensate for the loss. We provided financial assistance to several impoverished families to ensure they could make their house payments and purchase grocery essentials on a month-to-month basis.

India

May 2021

Due to the unexpected surge in COVID-19 cases in May, June, and July of this year, local hospitals in India were not equipped with enough resources to care for patients. Many men, women, and children were turned away and went without treatment. We purchased and delivered 5 new oxygen concentrators to 3 local hospitals, which enabled the doctors and staff to serve many additional patients.

We partnered with a local entity to open a temporary hospital with 200 beds, along with providing individual oxygen concentrators, hiring additional nursing staff, and recruiting volunteers so patients could be taken care of during the quarantine period and return home safe and noncontagious. The hospital will be working at maximum capacity over the next 4 months to accommodate the influx of new patients.

August 2020 - June 2021

We provided financial assistance to over 300 families around the world to help cover basic essentials: food, water, clothing, shelter, and medical care.
