I.M. Banatwala High School, situated near Dudhiya Talav in Navsari, has been a beacon of hope for generations, providing quality education to boys and girls from all walks of life. The school provides free admission, school uniforms (including shoes and socks), and school supplies to all newly admitted students.
At this critical juncture, we humbly request your support for various projects that the Lakhani Foundation is currently working on to support this school. Our aim is to improve the overall learning environment and educational opportunities for the students and teachers in its care. Roof Repair on the Second Floor: The second floor of the school urgently requires roof repair to address leaks during the rainy season. This project is vital to ensure that all classrooms are operational throughout the year, providing uninterrupted education to students. The estimated cost for this initiative is 9,333 US $ (7 lakhs Indian Rupees).
Boys Restroom Renovation: The boys restroom facilities are in dire need of repair and renovation to maintain hygiene and comfort. Your support will help us create a clean and welcoming environment for the students. The estimated cost for this initiative is 8,000 US $ (6 lakhs Indian Rupees).
Classroom Renovation: Four classrooms are currently in a deteriorating condition and require immediate repair and renovation. Your donations will ensure that students have access to safe and conducive learning spaces. The estimated cost for this initiative is 5,333 US $ (4 lakhs Indian Rupees).
Educational Supplies and Science Lab Equipment: Many students are in need of school supplies, and the science lab requires essential equipment. Your support will enable them to provide the necessary resources for hands-on learning and skill development. The estimated cost for this initiative is 1,333 US $ (1 lakh Indian Rupees).
Smart Whiteboards for Modern Learning: To keep pace with the evolving educational landscape, and enhance the learning experience for their students, Smart White Boards will be installed in select classrooms. The estimated cost for this initiative is 2,667 US $ (2 lakhs Indian Rupees).
Supporting Our Dedicated Teachers: Due to a lack of funds and grants, they are unable to fully compensate their teachers on a regular basis. Out of 16 teachers, 6 receive grants while 10 work selflessly without grant support. Your contribution will help them maintain a skilled and motivated teaching staff, ensuring quality education for their students. The estimated cost for this initiative is 6,667 US $ (5 lakhs Indian Rupees).
Additional Miscellaneous Needs: There are other miscellaneous expenses, such as building maintenance and unforeseen costs, that require your support to keep the school running smoothly. They estimate these expenses to be 6,667 US $ (5 lakhs Indian Rupees).
In total, we need approximately 40,000 US $ ( 30 lakhs Indian Rupees) to complete these vital projects. With your generosity and support, we can make a profound impact on the lives of the 300 students who attend this school, along with their dedicated team of 16 teachers.
