Pakistan's National Disaster Management Authority reported a death toll of over 1,000 men, women, and children as major floods have taken over the area. Monsoon season began earlier than expected this year, in mid-June, and fatalities in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and southern Sindh provinces are rising as of today.
The Lakhani Foundation is partnering with local organizations who have boots on the ground to distribute essential resources - food, water, medicine, clothing, tents, and other supplies in much needed areas.
