Investing in Education: The Gateway to a Better Future
Education is more than just a pathway to knowledge; it’s a pathway to a better life. For many children in underserved communities, access to quality education is a distant hope. That's where we come in. Through our education service pillar, we focus on restoring and funding schools, and providing comprehensive university scholarships so students have the tools they need to succeed.
One such school is Banatwala High School, a local public school in India, that sat in disrepair and lacked essential materials. With our support, 300 students and 16 teachers received the funding they needed to repair classrooms, re-build restroom facilities, and provide lab equipment and textbooks. As a result, every student has the opportunity to access a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment.
We believe that every child deserves a chance to learn, and we are committed to making that a reality, one school at a time. By funding scholarships and restoring educational infrastructure, we are giving young people the opportunity to change their own lives—and their communities—for the better.
The Lakhani Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that serves communities around the world. It was founded in 2016 by the Lakhani family.
The foundation’s mission is to improve the welfare and prospects of those in need by providing essential resources to enhance their quality of life, and creating opportunities to help them become self-sustainable over time.
